She saw how he thought she'd fallen right into his little trap and smirked. Who would end up the one ensnared was still unknown, but Laeth's rather natural confidence refused to accept it could be her. She had been in the game of deception for a long time and this was a child's play she jumped in being annoyed at life as she was. Could this drow truly surprise her? Little chance, but you never really know until you give someone a chance.

At his words, her dark lips spread in nearly predator-like grin, giving the beautiful, but strange face another notch of eeriness. "Now, now, why take all the fun away? Reality can be so boring, don't you know?" she laughed softly, eyes fixed on the berries. He wanted to know what she was up to? Nosy little drow, but then again, who with working brains and set of eyes wouldn't be. "My wish is just to have a little bit of excitement, a little bit of fun... Figured, something ought to be going on, with all those temples nearby." It was not a lie, too. Maybe a half-truth, or rather the underlying motive of all her actions.

Marwo snatched one of the berries out of his palm and bit into it with delight. Moments later, bartender returned with goblet and set it down in front of her. She could feel how he looked the pair over, obviously thinking about one of the unwritten inn laws: the two weirdest patrons always gravitated together... Which led to another rule: they always ended up causing trouble. The wine was of little importance to her now, berries and conversation partner. "Don't you agree that's a fine little goal, Blue Eyes?" she inquired, nickname not said in tone one could take as compliment or 'hitting on', more like pointing out the obvious and annoying.

In that moment, one little movement started a chain of events, similar to small snowball rolling down the hill and turning into dangerous mass, crushing most that was unlucky to be in its way. First, his cloak fell and bartender reacted, then the drow jumped up and pushed at her, right as doors opened and first guard entered inn: "She's here! Milady, guards!" They didn't want to stick around until 'milady' arrived, Laeth knew that.

The woman snatched the goblet, wine unceremoniously dumped on floor, and her bag, then allowed to be moved into the kitchen. Her hands worked the item into her bag, so she'd not accidentally drop and lose it, as she followed Blue Eyes. At the wall, she cursed under her breath, but not short after, with a bit of drow's help, she found herself on top of it. "Sometimes, a lady just has to go and stir up some excitement herself, if no one else has bothered to," she commented cheekily and then suddenly ducked, as a all-too-familiar ball of energy flew towards the pair.

Without other sound, Marwo turned and began to dash down the wall, closer to forest's edge, followed by another energy ball coming in closer with each step. As soon as the wall lowered, she leaped off, landing rather well, and the orb of light crashed in one of the buildings. "By the black blood!" she cursed under her breath, glancing behind half to see if Blue Eyes was nearby, half to see if guards or that priestess wasn't following.

Since the chasers were not in immediate sight, she took the chance and ran for the forest, shadows swirling around her, then swallowing her in attempt to hide, but the fast movement kept disrupting the spell. By now, guards were already at the wall, some scrambling over it, but the ones on horses were at the gates and heading right in this direction. Even worse, priestess was leading them and approaching fast. It wasn't too cheering to remember now that the High Priestess of Sun was renowned rider and skilled fighter because of some kind of title she had gained.

But Laeth managed to reach to cover of trees before any of them caught sight of her. Now, she had to figure which side of the town she was - the one in mainland's side or Temple's side. If latter, she was in trap, it would be hard to get out to mainland without passing through the city or jumping into the sea. Still, she had gotten herself out of bigger trouble and if the Blue Eyes wouldn't throw her for the 'dogs', it could still work out well.
