Garion got up slowly from his bed as his alarm clock went off for school, he knew his dad was already gone to work, since he worked early mornings. He got out of bed stretching before walking down the hall way in their one floor house. Garion walked to the fridge and grabbed some milk and corn flakes before sitting at the dining room table. His house was small and quaint which was good for him and his father, meant Garion got free time all the time and he never had to be watched.
Garion ate slowly as he read the back of the box of cereal box, he had already missed the bus, on purpose today since there were doing nothing in his class today. As he finished his cereal he put his dish in the sink before heading upstairs and getting dressed into jeans and a t-shirt. He grabbed a new book on the super natural as he left his room, it was a large volume one of 3 that he had borrowed from the library. He made his way downstairs and pulled out a sticky note where he wrote down a note to his father that he was out side in the field reading and pasted it to the fridge door.
Garion walked out of the door of his house and headed out too the back field behind his house, towards the one tree that stood in the middle of the field. As he reached it he sat down and laid back against the tree breaking open the book and turning to the page that he had left off at last night, he started to read again. He read for a long time, the sun moved from just over the horizon to straight over head, the sun was warm and it made him sleepy. So he closed his book and put it at his head turning over and using it as a pillow as he decided to take a short nap just because.
While he was asleep a figure walked up to him and smiled, cloaked in black, and touched him on the forehead before placing a note softly beside Garion. Garion awoke just as the person disappeared from sight and as he sat up his hand hit the note, which he opened and read. As he read it he knew immediately what it meant, so he stood and sighed, walking slowly as he read the last of the note, before he got to his house and entered. He hadn't realized that he had napped for 2 hours and his dad was now home.
When his dad looked at Garion he raised an eyebrow and stood up walking over to him and brushing his hair slightly out of the way to expose the mark. Garion handed his dad the note an sighed looking at his dad hanging his head as he put the book on the table and his dad sat down reading the note. Garion made it only half way up the stairs before he collapsed blacking out, and thudded down the stairs. His dad found him and sighed knowing what he had to do for Garion to get the best schooling he could.
Garion awoke at the front gates at the school, on his back was a backpack full of books and also a note from his dad. He stood up and brushed off the dirt from his clothes as he read the note then put it into his back pocket. He looked around and stumbled forwards looking at the buildings and his surroundings so much he didn't realize some one who was standing there in front of him. He accidently bumped into the girl losing his back pack on the ground, which he bent down and picked it up before he looked at the girl. "Sorry." he muttered noticing her clothes and how dirty she looked at the moment.
