Sapphire slept on the blanket, every once in a while a breeze would go by, making a few parts of her hair shifted a bit, her long pink braid laid out at her sides. The rest of her long pink hair had spread out almost like a fan. It had been a while since she had last rested like this, sleeping wasn't something that Sapphire could do, even when she wanted to. Sleeping wasn't her strong suit. Then against, she shouldn't even be sleeping since she had been asleep for centuries, but here she was. Resting in the grass on one of her favorite blankets under the morning sun, if it was morning, she couldn't remember the time. All she knew, it was nice out.

Sapphire would have slept if it weren't for something that had suddenly decided to bother her, a nagging feeling that something was going. At first she ignored it since it wasn't that big of a deal, however as time went on, the feeling started to become a bit more intense. It started to feel very...familiar as if she was supposed to know who it was. Sapphire didn't really move as the feeling grew, she decided to wait to see what was the really before she reacted to it. It could just be nothing, right? It wasn't long until she heard faint whispers. Was someone talking in her ear? No, they sounded too much like echos, someone was talking and they were getting a bit louder as they were moving. Sapphire soon sensed that she had caught someone in a thought, they were talking within their mind. Mind link, but with who?

'I guess I will not be getting any sleep after all.' The long pink haired female thought to herself until the person she 'heard' was close enough for her to caught some clear words and voices. Children? Well, it is a park. But this one involved singing. They seemed..bubbly and happy...joyful. Those words, these feelings, they were all too familiar. Sapphire's brows started to tilt a bit inward, she could now sense it, it had to be one of the gems, her 'family' and it wasn't long until she heard the voice she knew who it was. Only the gems knew her true name. The young woman opened her bicolored eyes as they stared upward towards a blob of colors, it took a while until it showed who it was...the bubbly one of the gems. The kind one. Topaz. Golden eyes were staring down towards the two different colored eyes. Once Topaz asked if it was her, Sapphire only sat there in silence, it wasn't like she could answer. Being mute kind of hindered that. Sapphire blinked once as her one gold and one blue eye made eye contact with the woman.

Sapphire let out a mental sigh as she gently patted the young woman's head, a gesture she often did back then since she couldn't speak. "You haven't changed one bit, it's good to see you, Topaz." She spoke in a soft tone, using her power of telepathy. One of the most basic things she could do. She was, after all, the 'mind' of the gems. Sapphire was happy to have finally found a 'siblings' it was just hard for her to really express it. She guessed that was one of the reasons she liked watching Topaz with the children or being herself. She was also so happy...then again, Topaz was more useful that Sapphire. "How have you been?" She asked out of curiosity, her head tilting a bit, noticing that she was basically hovering over her, straddling her. Sapphire didn't really mind, it was to be expected of Topaz to do this, it was what she did. One of the few things she liked about her.
