I don't know how old Grindelwald is in Fantastic Beasts but Depp looked pretty ancient in it. But yeah he's getting a bit on in the years for movies with younger characters.

I remember Fifth Element having over-the-top outfits without appearing over-the-top and had a pretty interesting plot.
