But of course he should be; that was the point of the love potion and there shouldn't have been any way for Cian to resist him. Assuming Layland made the potion as strong as he thought he did. "Does it work?" Layland asked. "You're not...Since you drank that potion. You haven't been feeling different have you?" he asked. He couldn't quite bring himself to ask if the other was feeling in love with him. He didn't seem to be acting like it though, so maybe Layland had some hope. "It's possible it didn't work.
