Night is getting darker,
as the wind makes it cold.
Pale moonlight shines down
on the lake to make it bold.
Such a lovely night
down into the woods.
Trees and rocks and cliffs,
near the shore they stood.
Peace and tranquility
where man has not disturbed.
Untill it all gets torn down
replaced with cement and curb
