In this thread, you will be presented with a series of images portraying scenes that teeter on the brink between Valentine and Anti-Valentine sentiment. Your task will be to choose which way you would like to steer things, and to shove that puppy to one side or the other by writing a short (75 words or less) caption that describes the image. You will earn points for each entry -- those who earn the most points will win the most fabulous riches, but everyone who earns even one point is guaranteed to win something.

• Each person may enter the contest under one account only. You may enter with your mule or your main, but not both.
• Only one entry per image, per person. You will have to choose whether you want to submit a Valentine or an Anti-Valentine caption - you can't do both for a single image.
• Each entry must be 75 words or less. Part of the challenge is writing gripping stuff in a small space.
• Don't plagiarize. Use your own imaginations and your own fresh writing here, please.
• Don't be a jerk. While we shouldn't have to say this, there always seems to be someone who would benefit from having it spelled out for them. No ridiculing other folks' work, stirring up drama, attempting to scam or otherwise being a pain in our asses please. We don't want to have to murder anyone on Valentine's Day. <3
• Accept your prizes promptly. If you haven't accepted the trade after 30 days, we reserve the right to cancel it and send your goodies to an active charity instead. Please make sure you check your trades!
