It took a moment for her to register what just happened. "Your understudy?" she repeated.
Normally, most wolves in the pack would be absolutely flattered by her request and say "yes" automatically without thinking. However, there were plenty of things she needed to take note of. It was a large responsibility. Cheza mainly had to question if she was strong enough, worthy enough to take it on. Jazereth seemed to think so though. She would need to make sure she knew how to handle it first.
"And I have until the Feast of the Elements to decide", she stated simply, thinking to herself outloud. "I will give you an answer as soon as possible, but do you really believe I have the..merit to have a role like that? Warrior or not, I'm still only your servant."
