Well, its a long story, but my parents are Russian immigrants, so... they could never celebrate religious anything in Soviet Russia. I didn't even know that people celebrated Easter until Middle School because my parents didn't know about it and never celebrated it.
I find that okay though. I'm atheist, so I tend to not celebrate holidays that much... unless my dad forces me to celebrate the Jewish holidays since he claims so ardently that he's Jewish .-.
