Clockie: True. We have this rewards system set up, mainly with lots of cool stickers - she looooves stickers. She gets a sticker whenever she tells us she needs to go potty, and even if she has an accident, we don't make her feel bad. We tell her that it's ok. We get her out of her wet clothes, if she's not wearing a diaper - sometimes she is, sometimes she isn't - and tell her that next time she should tell one of us that she needs to go potty. :] We're not here to make her feel bad about something that she's just learning how to do. :]
