So this one could speak, or was at least willing too. That was good news for Talon - communicating was much easier that way. Though he could not help but chuckle at her attempts to create a make-shift skirt of sorts from the cloth and belt. Better yet, she insisted the cloth was broken. She was so naive to the ways of the world. Huh, lucky girl.

"Here." Talon grabbed the cloth and belt, and quickly fastened a make shift skirt for the woman. "Azaela was it?" Talon backed up as to not be in her personal space, no need to be to aggressive. "If the fabric bothers you, remove it. I wear no shirt and will not force you to do something I would not." A skirt was different from a shirt, but the point still stood.

Talon proceeded to leaned against the wheel, thinking to the raid in which his crew participated in just beside them. Kind to think of it, it had grown quiet. None of the crew had even returned with treasures, let alone information. Turning his head to the blaze of buildings, the figure of a man could be made out in the 'natural' lighting. He approached quickly and loudly, carrying arms full of gold or some other material trifle.

Though as he touch foot to plank, he keeled over - instantly dead.

"Unless waiting on a dead crew is what pirates do, you might as well set sail." The harsh whispers tore through his head, racking him with pain. The female spirit was here.

"No rest for the wicked. Or crew." The males voice was followed with a chuckle, arrogance accompanying it.

"Bastards." Talon whispered to himself as he turned his attention below the deck. Maybe they still waited, they were not technically crew after all. Firstly he approached the crew mate whom had died at the foot of his ship, grabbing his cutlass and nothing else. Kicking his body to sea along with the planks that provided a bridge to port.

"Azaela, can you use a weapon?" Talon turned to the girl whom he had little hope in. She could not make a garment, what hope does she at wielding a blade? Still he approached her and placed it at her feet. "Use this to protect yourself." Talon was still emotionless, he was just prepared for the worst case scenario. Below decks is where they stayed - and the dead tend to be closer to the spirits anyways.

Though only fear would stop the approach, something this captain lacked. Approaching the deck, he took the stairs below - hand on his sword at all times. It took but moments for him to surface once more. "We are in luck." He approached the mermaid, she probably would not be fond of the following. "Don't fear them." Talon nodded towards the blackness that was below decks as something stirred.

After a short silence, the most grotesque creatures began to shamble their way onto the deck. "They are practically brain dead." Talon turned to the mermaid and smirked, she just became the next smartest thing on his ship. His feelings towards that were mixed.

The things that crawled out form the darkness, where they belonged, smelled of rotten flesh. Surprisingly they were mostly bone draped in tattered cloths. Blood drenched for the most part. Some had skin or muscle, flesh to be general, speckled onto their moldy looking bones.

"Meet the new crew. Any questions?" Talon looked the girl in the eyes. She would probably be confused - but The Spirits do that to people. At least his new crew would always follow orders - though they lacked the intelligence to think for themselves. Gripping onto the wheel - he turned his attention to the boat that had sailed away earlier. That boat was an opportunity for obtaining a living crew once more. Most importantly, a chance of putting this reserved crew back into storage below decks.

"You mermaids fond of adventure?" Talon nodded to his crew and they began to work at prepping and keeping the ship in traveling condition. They were easier to control - but the ship felt empty. Emptier then usual. They would have to catch that other ship as soon as they could for some real men. As they set sail for the other ship Talon once again turned to the mermaid whom now served as the only living thing aboard the ship aside from him self.
