Though not gilded the elevator was filled with mirrors making it feel bigger than it actually was. It also allowed people to check their appearances as you merit was partially judged on your looks. As the elevator reached his stop and, Thaddeus would see a young woman, fair complexion, not a single blemish, and curves in all the right spots, waiting for him. They had sent their best to greet and accompany him as he shopped. The staff only accompanied the richest of clientele, assisting them with any issues they might have. Vivian, at least that was the name on her name tag, gave him a small smile. "Welcome sir," If he was hooded he may not want others to know who he was so they respected that, "Is there anything specific I can show you today?" She held a tablet device that held information on every creature in their store, including who else might be looking at it. Thaddeus would be no stranger to this kind of treatment and if he asked her to leave she would respectfully do so, but there was power in the information she held at her fingertips and a type of knowledge you couldn't find just on the cage descriptions.

She stood only about 5'5'' which meant he towered over her a bit, her petite frame did not seem small in comparison to him. "Perhaps a new Caledonian horse, I heard that quiet the vile fate befell your last one." She looked directly at him but her fingers were running across the screen expertly, she was pulling up his purchase history in the event that he wanted to find a companion for one of his previous purchases, though she had the thought that he might be here to buy their most violent piece of merchandise. If anyone could tame a wild elf it would be Thaddeus. "Though I assume you are here for something a bit more," she hesitated, thinking of the right word, "interesting." The lower level workers were paid on commission but the assistants were paid completely based on an evaluation of their helpfulness. Her job would be to see to it that he was completely happy with his time here in their shop. This was also not the first time Vivian had helped him.

Mitch shifted uncomfortably in the chains, the shackles were not the worst part, a metal collar, steel most likely, was sending shocks into Mitch's body to encourage "obedience". The collar also discouraged any talking or much movement of the neck for that matter. It wouldn't be fitting if the merchandise were to spit at a client or curse them out.
