Mitch was forced down, kneeling in front of Thaddeus but that did not calm the fire inside. Mitch waited until Thaddeus was close enough and then, with as much power as possible, headbutted Thaddeus in the gut. Normally Mitch would play docile for a little bit to heal and recover, but it infuriated the elf to hear this man speak of friendship. Humans were not a friend of the elven people, they had made that clear with their discrimination and hatred. Mitch would not stand by and listen to that kind of lying. What was worse was this man's smile, it did not harbor the normal twisted wickedness that most masters held. Instead, he seemed truly happy, an innocent happiness, a happiness that Mitch had seen before. That type of smile did not belong to a man who would treat another as property.

The guards grabbed Mitch again as someone helped Thaddeus. No one wanted to tell him that they had specifically told him Mitch would be violent. Instead, they waited with bated breath to see how Thaddeus would react.
