PJ pulled up at the beach just as raindrops began to fall down from the dark, inky sky. He cut the ignition and sighed, looking out over the rolling ocean. Somewhere out there was Serellia, dancing under the dark blue waves. She'd be freezing when she left the water. PJ subconciously squeezed the thick blanket folded up on his lap. A waft of vanilla floated up from the old material. The blanket was a hand-me-down of his family, and the warmest blanket in the northern hemisphere. I bet Samira'd love it . . . No. Don't even go there, dude. Don't even think about her. Stepping out of the car, PJ made his way across the road and down on to the wet sand. He approached the water just as Serellia began to climb back on to dry land. Wrapping the blanket around her, he swept her off her feet and carried her back to the car, rain pouring down on the two of them.
