Julius caught Jakob staring at him and started fidgeting, feeling uncomfortable. He tried to ignore him and started jogging on his spot to warm up. He was going to show everyone that he was the best. He dragged a hand through his hair and focused on the runners before him, their speed disappointed him and he rolled his eyes. When it was finally his turn, he took the stage once again, he was the best of course. When he ran, all eyes were fixed on him, he was a graceful cheetah in a field of turtles. Crowds of students cheered for him, shouting praise and he began to smile, avoiding the unbearable stinging of his hand.
