My university friends and I have just started a book club, which is exciting! We've all just completed our Masters' together, and we now have a monthly book club going as an excuse to stay in touch.

We picked books to read by each bringing our favourite book-club-appropriate book to the first session, then we randomised the read order. So far we've done two (very different) books, and I've been loving it. Each time I've read the entire book on the first day it was assigned, and I took some pretty extensive notes on the first book. People can read the book in whatever format they like, so I've been downloading digital copies.

The books so far have been Soulless by Gail Carriger and The Lieutenant by Kate Grenville.
