Oliver was quiet for a while, an eerie thing for him. He finally smiled, then sighed, pressing his face against the curve of Emmery's neck and letting a little of the tensity seep away. "I just... don't think you should downplay your infatuation with the guy like that. Kind of an insult to both of you. I mean if you cared about him so much that you'd distract yourself with others... then ask me to keep you away from him... It's stronger than you'd tell me..." He went quiet and sighed again. "Just don't leave once the shine wears off..." His voice broke, and Oliver buried his face against Emmery again.
