During their youth, all spoke of how their love would keep them together for the rest of their lives. As such naive and innocent lovers, they always thought it true. They wanted nothing more than to spend forever with one another. To be with the other was to be alive. It was to live, love, and be happy.

Too bad life had another outlook on their future....

At the age of seventeen, Oliver Barton vanished from her life with little warning. When she awoke in her stone cold bed, she found something taped to her palm. There, in his writing, was a note that read "This is goodbye." There was nothing else written in ink so his vanishing was truly a mystery for her. She asked around and after months of searching, no one knew what happened to him, not even her father who had the authority to request details on any man or woman. Why? For he is the Commander and Chief of the United States Galactic Armed Forces (USGAF).

Receiving no closure, she went on with her life as expected. She graduated her schooling and moved onto the next level of education. From there, she took a job in the Med Bay, more specifically the Quarantine Zone.

Many years ago, all the countries of Earth were forced to evacuate due to a disease that ran rampant over the planet. The disease actually parasite, would consume anything with flesh and blood, whether that be humans or animals, it did not matter. Unable to combat the parasite for it spread at an exponential rate, the people of Earth were forced to flee to space. Large space stations were already in place but they were rapidly built up to accommodate more than the usual fleet of galactic soldiers.

A few attempts were made to return to Earth, but most were futile. There was no cure. There was no antidote. They would need to linger in space a while longer and pray that science and technology would make a breakthrough. Still, they needed to keep sending test dummies down to test new variations of their "cure." Not to mention, once in a blue moon, they're receive a beckon that someone's still stranded on Earth (moving to space wasn't mandatory).

However, the longer man stayed in space, the testier man gets. With each year trapped in a metal floating citadel, tensions grow tighter. Some countries enforced a population limit whereas others allowed their citizens to bred and multiply as they see fit. Of course, doing this comes at a heavy cost.... space.

Current relations between the US and China are not great. China is demanding that the US dome send supplies and accommodate more of their people. The US, usually open for immigration, has since closed its doors to prevent overpopulation. Such actions have irked the Chinese, who now threaten war if something is done.

With time now being the unpredictable hand in the race to save mankind, another bout of drama rolls into the story. Once day, while on a routine inspection of those who visited Earth, a semi-familiar face wanders back into her life....
