Nick flicked his eyes to the other then back to the path the other was taking as he let his hearing focus on other things then what the other was snapping at him. apparently the other's pride was taking a hit. but that was fine. he'd live. nick rather he had hurt pride, then oh a gaping wound in his gut from some animal or other.
