Venus made it to her class and just sat there. Listening to the teacher and taking notes. "Shinigami's are similar to a ghost but they are not the same thing. A shinigami is a reaper who collects the souls of humans, usually a dying human... But there are some reapers that simply take human souls because they can, these are known as soul eaters. They do not collect the souls- they eat them. And not just human souls, they go after any being with a living soul." The professor spoke. Venus felt a shiver run down her spine.

The rest of the class period was spent summoning simple specters with a small vial from the teacher. Venus could take it when the one she summoned began to chase her and she fled the classroom. Of course, after class was over- she was sent to the headmasters office. So, Venus sat and waited as the teacher spoke to the headmaster, fiddling her thumbs. 'Why am I here...? If it was a mess up wouldn't I have been called in here earlier?' She asked herself as she stared at her feet. There was only one person she wanted to see right now..monster or not...
