And Grink said his was… But before he could get the name out, he was taken away by the Theodor Geisel estate for copyright violation.

Gemo + Yoyo
Gemo, the wooden elf, has a strong sense of duty and responsibility. He likes to get the job done right and on time. This is at odds with Yoyo, who likes nothing more than to play and fool around. Definitely a mismatched pair.

Oreyn, the woodland elf, is used to roughin’ it in the outdoors. But he’s certainly not used to the icy conditions of Izotz’s home. After only ten minutes of freezing his leaves off, he had to retreat back to his forest.

Izotz + Vlad
Izotz, the wintry elf, can come off a little… well, frigid. He doesn’t have too many close relationships with other elves. But in Vlad he finds a kindred spirit. Both are cold to the touch. Both avoid the sun. They should have been working, but spent the day instead outside having fun and making bat angels.

Grink + Yoyo = Beaglepuss

Grink + Cherry
Grink, the big-hearted elf, had changed his ways and was now eager to make presents this day. And what delights they would give to the girls and boys, when they’d all rush down to find their toys! Floofloovers and tartookas! Whohoopers and gardookas! Spinning trumtookas and slamming slooslunkas! Beating blumbloopas and whamming whowonkas! … The confusion addled poor Cherry’s head and was forced to retire to his bed.

As one can imagine, Snoozy, the slumbering elf, has a tendency to fall asleep throughout the day, even during work. Most elves are good enough to wake him up when this happens. Yoyo isn’t most elves. The trickster was just having too much fun drawing on Snoozy’s face.

Yoyo + Finbar
Yoyo, the mischievous elf, loves playing pranks. And so he planned to pull one over on Finbar by bringing him a Guinness laced with hot sauce. But Finbar ruined the joke by stating that he doesn’t drink. Yoyo was furious. “All Irish elves drink!” Finbar called that a gross stereotype, then threw a potato at Yoyo and hit him with his shillelagh.

Cherry, the juicy elf, skipped along to meet his partner for the day. “Oh good, you’re here,” Finbar smiled, “you can help me out.” Cherry was more than happy to accommodate. But what was the task? – He soon learned it was rounding up all the snakes on the property. And Cherry spent the rest of the afternoon hiding up a tree.

Oreyn + Snoozy
Oreyn brought Snoozy up to his tree house workshop to collaborate on their gift. Everything started off well, but while Oreyn’s back was turned, Snoozy fell asleep and dropped out of the tree. He hit the ground and rolled off into the woods. It took Oreyn the rest of the day to find him.

Oreyn + Finbar = Lucky Wings

Oreyn + Vlad = 1000g

Finbar + Vlad
Vlad, the blood-sucking elf, just can’t resist the allure a fair-skinned neck. And none is more fair than Finbar. But Finbar is the lucky elf, and each of Vlad’s attempts to sink his fangs into that juicy jugular is duly thwarted. Eventually the sun threatened to rise, and Vlad returned home to his castle, dejected.
