"Robots to greet the door, robots to turn on the lights, to guard the windows, and to record my journals. Some of them are like pens, or small animals, or a few like people. Though none quite like you," he added, reaching out to brush a strand of blue hair behind E.v.a's ear. He could never create another something like her, whom he'd poured all of himself into, all of that inventive power. But still, he loved all his robots to a certain degree, as most people loved their pets and children. "Why shouldn't I also have a maid? You're certainly far too precious for that goal."
