As the moment of relief passed by and a second wave of obstacles reared their ugly heads, Eliseo took to a slight pout. If this were to keep up... Glancing down at the vines already encircling his hands again in anticipation. He was going to run out of energy in no time. Raising his hands to the nearest guns within the group's vicinity, vines raced forth from the earth to at least block their shots as his jaw clenched. Seemingly in good time now, Nisshoku was finally able to break through and they crossed on inside. The following silence and lack of greeting was eery; overly quiet and calm in an atmosphere that should have otherwise been tense. It dug at him in a restless manner. Where was this mastermind? Where was the action here? He had just begun to think that something may be wrong with the exercise when he was suddenly made aware of the ground sliding out from beneath him. He was falling...

The darkness gathered about their forms as Eliseo landed on his lower back with an "Oof!" Frowning slightly, the restlessness he had been feeling moments earlier at least subsided for now as a dull ache rose in him. Rubbing where he knew he'd bruise from that impact, he stood calmly to look about. "Seems like it." He replied with mild disinterest as Nisshoku inquired about them, instead allowing his gaze to wander about where they had landed. Smack dab in the midst of their mission, it seemed. Eliseo's eyes narrowed in on the glowing machinery before them, merely assuming it to be there objective as his gaze swept towards the motions he found quite a bit more concerning. Metal room, metal surroundings, mechanical opponent. "Of course." He murmured with mild distaste, cracking his knuckles and looking up at the hulking mass of robot. Metal surroundings meant no excess of plants or earth for his use, which also meant that he would be needing to draw quite a bit of energy to do so down here. Eliseo needed to be quick if he were to use what he had left in an efficient way. With Nisshoku focused in on the... evil device, thing... and Nik there roaring and ready to take on this robot, it left some doubt circling him. Didn't this leave out one piece of the puzzle? Was there no mastermind that he should be focused in on? It didn't appear so quite yet. Robot assistance, it was.

Stepping forward with this in mind, the notion of needing to act quickly in order to prove his worth here, Eliseo thrusted both of his hands down towards the robot that lumbered on towards them. Vines shot forth from where they encircled his arms yet again, though this time without the assistance of the earth. They rambled quickly on to wrap and clutch at the legs of the robot in any way, some snapping with the force of the brute on its own, but the rest seeming to succeed in halting it for the moment as Eliseo stood there, poised and focused in on its form. "This can't hold long..." He warned through clenched teeth, head already beginning to throb from energy exhaustion. The robot struggled, though the vines did hold it yet for now. "Not... yet..." Eliseo's eyes narrowed in on the massive metal hulk, the gun it began to aim in particular. He had yet to push himself all the way, he knew -- it was time to do just that. If only in order to show Yamato he was trying here. Trying, but perhaps not fully communicating with this team. The hands he held downwards lifted, fingers lead upwards as the vines closing in on the robot's legs drew up towards its gun now, too. With quite some resistance and more snapping of the sections of vine, they managed to steer its aim off of them for at least the moment. It would appear the robot would have control of its aim again soon, followed by the ability to move freely again. The only reason the vines hadn't given out already was the flow of vibrant green energy Eliseo now sent in steady streams from his hands into the growths. His purple gaze focused whole-heartedly on the objective here, in a way he sometimes appeared as he took on bringing in 'delinquents.'

The vines would steer clear of the others, leading a generous path for Nik towards it, as it had appeared he may opt to do.
