Malum was absolutely exhausted. Thankfully, it did not take him very long at all to fall asleep after his new roommate finally left him be. Within minutes, the small brunette was out, sleeping as silently as could be. Only a fuzzy tuft of brown hair was visible underneath that cushy blanket and all of those fluffy pillows. He was ordinarily a light sleeper, but it was different today. He slept like a log, practically comatose, and he definitely needed to do so to make up for all those hours he spent on the road.

Unfortunately...his blissful slumber wouldn't last nearly as long as he wanted it to. Hours later, he was jarred from a peaceful sleep by what sounded like arguing just outside of the room. He rose slowly from his place in bed, hair all mussed up and filled with static. He looked like an adorable little zombie in his half-awake state. He squinted at the door, still not fully awake. He couldn't exactly make out what was being said...but he noticed via his peripheral vision that his roommate was no longer in his bed.

Hm. Arguing with someone, perhaps? Well...whatever the case was, it was really none of his business.

Malum groaned, rubbing the side of his neck, and snatched up his trusty iPod from his nightstand table. After checking on the time, he grumbled to himself and rolled out of bed, smoothing out his clothing. If he didn't get up now and pick up a map of the campus from the main office, he would get lost for sure tomorrow night. His classes started earlier than those of most students--all of the advanced classes did. He had to be prepared...and that meant memorizing the campus layout. And picking up some books from the library at the last minute.
