Trevor thanked the men from the fishing company as they removed the top of the tank, eager to finally see the mermaid without the layer of glass in between. But he tried not to show it too much for business transaction purposes.

He was not sure what would happen once they took off the lid of the tank, because he was not sure if the mermaid preferred to breathe water or breathe air. After the men finally took off the lid, he watched as the mermaid jumped into the air, splashing water all over the men, and thankfully missing Trevor or he would have to change before he spent the rest of the day looking at the other creatures and greeting all of his guests. And he heard the mermaid say that she does need fresh air, so he quietly noted that she did indeed breathe oxygen from the air.

After that, he watched as she killed a fish and started eating it. He silently thought to himself that the exhibit he set up for her would have to include lots of fresh fish and probably seaweed and other plant life so that she would be able to eat healthily. But he noticed that she did not answer his question yet so he was not sure what to call her when he had further questions to ask.
