Percival frowned when she denied having a an escort. He hitched Rosie up for the hundredth time and adjusted her on his hip, "Ah, not a wise decision, I will admit, my Lady. This is a festival and yes, we should all be merry, but not all festival goers should be trusted. Not to say that you shouldn't trust me, of course, but well, what I am trying to say is; you should have an escort. I would be happy to stick by you until such a time as you locate one or find a friend, my Lady. I was just passing through the market with a new friend, Duchess Phaedra, and I'm sure she would not object to you tagging along."

Percival smiled when she inquired about Rosie. He smoothed back Rosie's wild pink hair and poked her little nose, "This is my daughter, your Highness. Her name is Roselynn. Rosie, for short."

Rosie whined in protest when Percival played with her hair and her little hands promptly jumped up to fix it. She squirmed in his arms, trying her hardest to see over his shoulder. She wanted to gaze at the sweets on the table.
