Every correctly solved clue will earn you 25 gold.

That may not sound much, but there's no limit to how many times you can win per day.

At the end of every day, the person who's solved the most clues gets to pick a store item up to the value of 750 gold, this includes items from the Special event store

If more than one person has the top score of the day, them each of them will get a free item.
