Kurt noticed someone he haven't seen before as he sat on the broken pillar in front of the mansion from the last battle. They had yet to figure out how to put it back currently without replacing it completely. That plus Enna wouldn't put it back together saying the x men needed her way too much lately. So along with Scott she stayed out of current missions until they both could relax a bit more.
