Samir felt glad that Emery didn't pester him about the secret. It was embarrassing enough to have uttered anything allowed at all. And yet, he couldn't help the warm glow that settled in his stomach as they put the groceries away and parted ways so they could do their chores. The day passed quickly and soon Samir was ushered Emery to meet him outside after dinner, pointing to a swing set out back so they could sit and talk at the same time.
