In almost no time at all, everyone was properly secured and being escorted away from the cages. As they walked down the beaten dirt path to god knows where, Xavi found herself grinning from ear-to-ear. It was so much fun to be a part of the action, to say that she had a vital role in the survival of all these poor sitting ducks. They truly were Dr. Lum's lab rats, none knowing just yet what their DNA had in store for them.

When finally upon the large, stone castle, Nisha instructed that the binds be removed so that the prisoners could feast their eyes upon their new home. Uncuffed and allowed to roam free (yes, it was an illusion), Nisha whirled around to address her gathering.

"You're free to wander about the grounds as you see fit. Note that if you do try to escape, you will be met by the giant electric fence." It was making sense. There was a faint buzzing sound before the unlatching of something while the crew moved to their new location. Clearly, the passed through a gate and that gate contained a current. How strong was it? Well, it must have been enough to force Nisha and her posse to wear stock-resistant gloves. Why, even Xavi, Phaedra, and Nazo were wearing these hefty, white gloves with gray rubber palms and padding.

"Our fences are reinforced by sentries," she continued. Again, a sound for their silent blind-folded walk made sense. There was a mechanized clicking noise following by a moaning swoosh sound. The faint cocking of a gun, or engaging a bullet into the chamber, was also heard along their not-so-pleasant stroll.

"Your powers, whatever they may be, won't aid you in escaping. You've each got an anklet on," Nisha watched as the kiddies all looked at their feet, "that alerts our systems to your presence. If you try to attack our systems, they will deflect and kill on cue. Moral of the story? Don't fuck with us and we might not kill you."

Xavi stepped up behind Nisha, as if rehearsed and on cue. "Agent Hawkeye here will give you a demonstration." A bow was produced from behind one of the other soldiers. Plopped in Xavi's hands, the woman laced up an arrow and pulled it back. Only, before she released, Nisha pointed at a small ban on the arrow's stem. With Nisha's hand moving away, Xavi released the arrow.

It glided flawlessly through the air and headed straight for the sentry nearest the crew. In seconds, the band blinked a violent red color and the sentry clicked and groaned into action. Bullet after bullet rained down on the feeble arrow, instantly killing its target in seconds. As the arrow fell from its path and rest in the grass, eyes were brought back on Nisha and "Hawkeye."

"Nicely done, Hawkeye." Nisha nodded and Xavi stepped away. "Now, do we make ourselves cle-" the sound of throat clearing deterred her. "Oh, I almost forgot. Hawkeye here is a trained marksmen. She never misses her target. If you do manage to get away from here, she will hunt you down. And she will kill you."

Xavi nodded in approval, allowing Nisha to continue on with her wrap up. "Now, without further ado, allow me to introduce, Dr. Lum!" Parting from where she stood, Nisha's body gave way to the emptiness behind her. As brows furrowed, the woman laughed. "I am Dr. Nisha Lum." Her fingers snapped, which caused Xavi to move behind the woman. "Hawkeye, why don't you take these kiddies to their chambers."

'As you wish, Doctor." Heels clicking together, Xavi tucked her bow over her shoulder and beckoned the prisoners to march along behind her. With each step, she lead them closer to the stone castle that looked hundreds of years old. Dragon archways and dragon stained glass windows gave the illusion that Dr. Lum was a dragon fan. Little did they know the truth of it all and the secrets that laid within the castle.

Now inside the castle, Xavi stopped to show off the main lobby. "To your left are the dining halls and kitchen areas. To the right, the conservatory and labs. Up are the bedrooms. Down are more labs and dungeon."

If anyone tried to move or escape, she would pull out her bow and ready it on the escapee. Of course, that grew old and in time everyone just learned to comply. Up the stairs they went to what seemed to be an endless row of rooms upon rooms. "Bathrooms, living rooms, game rooms, libraries, offices -- you name it, it's probably up here. This is what we like to call the 'living quarters.' You can each pick your own room. Rooms that don't have closed doors are free for claiming. Those that are closed belong to whose name resides on the door."

Resting up against the door that said "Hawkeye," the woman sighed. "Any questions. If not, you'll find suits in your room. Change into them and then meet me in the main lobby. We've work to do before dinner then bed."
