Smiling at the boy, Cass followed him into the Warehouse, her guards fanning out upon entering. The sight of them noticeably inspecting everything and everyone that happened to catch there eyes made her shake her head, though they never seemed to notice that. Paranoid was what they were, or at least that was how she saw them. "It's fine, really," she said, both to herself and the apologetic apprentice.

As they entered the workshop where the craft was being built, the screeching set her teeth on edge. No matter how often she had come by, she could never get used to those kinds of sounds. However, the rhythmic sound that it took up once Crispin had fixed it was rather soothing. The explosion had caused the lot of them to jump back a bit in surprise, some less voluntarily than others. Carefully removing the guard's hands from her upper arm, Cass turned to address the heir.

"Are you and it okay?" she asked, taking his hand with a smile as she thought about what her father would say. Still, it was clear from her expression that she was concerned for his well-being. "That couldn't have been very good for either of you at least." The guards were finally starting to relax, though they eyed anyone who walked within ten yards of her. That was typically the optimum shooting distance of a small, concealable, pistol.

Upon verifying that he wasn't merely going to keel over dead, she continued, her eagerness clearly leaking into her voice, "How's progress coming?" All of the parts and tools lying around were, for the most part, incomprehensible to her, though she did recognize a few that were used for tuning vehicles that a pilot would keep on board, but that was about it. "Is the engine almost... operational?"
