Myriam smiled at the mentioned of homework and when the bell rang, she waited patiently for everyone to leave before gathering her things and setting her homework at the top of the pile. Without another word, she crumpled up the note and threw it into the trash then made her way to her math class. Was there a test today? She couldn't remember but if there was she was confident that she would pass it. Math was her strong subject. Her stomach growled, surprising her. She didn't think she was hungry and she started to think of what she would want to eat for lunch today. Usually she would eat whatever was given unless it was fish of course. Something about eating seafood made her sick to her stomach. "Alright math..shouldn't be too hard." she said to herself. It never was. Surprisingly the only hard part about the class were the pop quizzes, she absolutely dreaded them. Perhaps it was the act of being surprised that she dreaded.

Myriam was surprised that the teacher hadn't asked her to stay after class. Maybe she just didn't give the teacher a chance? Myriam shrugged to herself and walked into her math class. A few students were already, one of them being the boy from before. She didn't stare at him though. Instead Myriam just walked to her seat near the window and sat down, opening up her notebook to the section labeled 'MATH'. It was best to have one notebook for all her classes instead of one notebook for each class. Made organizing things much easier. The teacher was just getting ready for the start of the lecture, he could be seen counting the students and the names on his attendance list. Looking at the clock, she had arrived early thankfully. Ten minutes left before the class actually started. Hopefully the class went by quickly since she wanted to get something to eat and figure out how to replace her alarm so that it would work by Wednesday.
