An arrogant smile and determination etched on her face, Ms. Janavonich proudly walks into the gymnastics area to watch her girls perform. Win or lose, she knows they have what it takes to win.

Hokulani = Superstar (blueblackrose)
Hokulani beamed with confidence as she stood in the spotlight on the gymnastic's floor by her teammates. She was proud to be representing Team Stareater as its star gymnast.

Settareh = Rookie (salvete)
Settareh grinned nervously under the spotlight. Despite her racing heart, she was absolutely thrilled to be representing Team Stareater in the Menewsha Summer Games gymnastics competition for the first time.

Asha = Walk-on (star2000shadow)
She wasn't even supposed to be there, having been mistaken for one of the other Gymnasts, but she was ecstatic to be able to try, right up until Asha saw the crowd of people cheering for the team she'd been put on..maybe now was a good time to tell them she wasn't who they thought she was?

What's Happening in Your Event? (8-10 Sentences):

Team Stareater entered today's gymnastic arena with bold confidence radiating from the veteran (Hokulani), quiet determination from the rookie (Settareh) and unknown potential from the walk on (Asha), followed by their proud coach (Ms. Janavonich). Fan favorite Hokulani posted impressive scores on all four apparatuses, demonstrating her flawless use of the Tsukahara into a back flip double twisting layout, truly impressive to watch. Settareh followed with her floor exercise routine. Although she didn't quite stick all her landings, the judges admired the strength and artistry demonstrated by this rookie athlete. Settareh was relieved as she stepped off the mat and was congratulated by her coach and teammates. Finally, it was Asha's turn as the final Team Stareater gymnast who had absolutely no idea what she was doing there. She had dressed up to attend the Games as a spectator. Suddenly, she had found herself being hustled into the arena last minute by the coach reminding her that she was going to perform some routine or other. While she embarrassingly fell almost immediately from the balance beam, Asha's teammates still showed good sportsmanship and hugged her as the judges posted the final scores.
