Marisa Angioli Dark hair, grey eyes, pretty, poor, telekinetic. Twin to Marzio Angioli, and their powers amplify each other.
'Fra Nazario' Tonsured hair, thin, surprisingly flexible. A con artist who poses as a priest and travels from town to town exorcising mock spirits.
Lord Luciano Gabrielli Blonde, handsome, wealthy, a bit of a fashion plate. Eldest son of the Gabrielli family.
Lady Isabella Bazzolo A very prim and proper lady of one of the finest families.
Alfonso di Napoli Dark hair with considerable grey, especially at the temples, brown eyes, and a near-permanent paternal expression. Majordomo of the Gabrielli household.
Lord Ferraro della Rovere d'Urbino Quite tall and broad-shouldered, with black hair and steel-grey eyes. Obviously used to working with this hands. Nephew of the duke of Urbino.
