Veronica took the list and credit card. The she chuckled. "Yes," she said. "Yes you do." She rose from her chair, put the card in her newly found purse, and headed towards the door. "I should probably go now before the store gets too crowded." Before she left, she turned around, smiled, and waved at Erik. "I'll see you later," she said. Then she headed out the door towards the grocery store.
