Yea we have similar here, although like you I always have to chase them up.
We also get health visitors who basically appear at your door any day any time just to see how everyone is. Like this morning at 10am the health visitor comes to the door I have 3 naked kids fighting coco pops all over the floor, I look like I've not brushed my hair in days and she's all 'just thought I'd stop in on my way to weigh a newborn' gee thanks. Excuse the chocolate puddle at your feet
