Ava, when I was a boy in the 50s most black kids believed that they couldn't do anything or b anything cause they were black.
The point of black history month was to break that mind set.
It's morphed way yonder from its original intent.
I'm so sorry u had such a hard time.
My daddy was a product of his times in some ways.
But he believed that Everyone should have the right to work live and eat.
He was a hillbilly and In spite of all the hillbillies in the factories his best friend was a Cuban. I don't think I've been a bigoted person, but I know for sure in not now.
Check out my Grandson. I'll brain the 1st person to call him names
