I learned about Kwanzaa from my African American and other cultural studies class. (Side note, the class was sadly removed from our school.). One of my high school counselors celebrated Kwanzaa. She came to our class and talked about it. I used to have a mini set up that I would show my preschool class. I'd talk about the candles and the kinara. I think I may have gotten rid of it since I decided we wouldn't do Kwanzaa at our house. I still like Kwanzaa though. :)
