That passive attitude combined with Sagitta's indifference of the nurse cause her to be flippant to the little pup and she promptly left without a kiss or hug. In the Romuli society any kind of affection must be earned and tonight, Sagitta failed to earn the much needed positive attention.
Day passed in a flurry of changing, feeding and playing and soon the boy's body was strong enough to try more difficult feat of agility, strength and coordination.
