If I take it to Apple and have them "fix it," then yeah, they just give you a refurbished one or something like that. And it'll cost me like $200 to get it replaced by them because it's considered accidental damage and therefore isn't covered by the warranty.

I'm trying to decide if I want to try and replace it myself. I can buy a screen on ebay or something for like $40-60 which is much cheaper, but I don't want to be responsible for breaking it further by doing it myself.
