Raylah's heart soared at the feel of Cal's strong arms around her again. Though she knew that it was against everything they had both been taught and that Cal could die for doing it, she couldn't make herself push him away. She wrapped her own arms around him and found herself wishing fervently for a moment that she could marry him. He understood her like no one else she knew. "I wish.." she started to say and then stopped, suddenly embarrassed by what she had almost revealed. She wasn't sure how Cal would have taken the words that she had nearly spoken.
