With the power going out the way it did, Yukio's extremely cold room began to finally stabilize as the temperature slowly but surely went back to normal. Who had down such a thing, that part was mostly unknown; but whoever or whatever the reason, this was his own chance to finally get out of this horrible room. Slowly standing up to his own two wobbly legs, Yukio made his way toward the exit of the room and noticed how the door handle itself was still frozen shut. Giving a little annoyed sigh to himself, he leaned closely down to the handle and took a deep breath in for a moment. By the time he exhaled a small breath of cloudy flames surrounded the handle and melted any of the ice that was on it. He may not had been in his phoenix form, but it didn't change the fact that he had the power to control the flames of the phoenix even if he wasn't in the form of one at the moment. Thankfully, since the power was out there wasn't any chance of the scientists being able to put the lock onto the door. So all he really had to do was open it up.

Although by the time the door had finally ended up opening; Yukio only ended up finding that the hallway right outside his room was pitch black. "Whats going on...this is kind of creepy.." he whispered silently to himself and looked left and right down the dark hallway, only to end up figuring out that there was not a single thing in sight due to the darkness. 'I need to hurry--...' he thought to himself only to end up stopping in the middle of his thought and end up coughing up blood into his palm and collapsing down to his own knees. From there, Yukio's own vision started to become blurry as he was losing way too much blood from how weak he was at the moment. Continuously coughing even more blood, Yukio ended up soon passing out right in front of his room and in the middle of the dark hallway.
