I had to buy a tire model that was just released this year, 90% of the dealers don't even know it exists yet.
But it had to be done because I need 19" tires that run well in the snow. They also have a 50,000 mile warranty on them, which is better than my last set by over 20,000 miles. >.>
Did you get your old car sold?

@Birdie: Yeah, brakes going bad is not good. That'd be number one on my list, too, especially if they were squealing.
If my car were a beater car I might be harder on it, but probably not too much. Spending sums of money more than 20-$25 makes me want to throw up, so I couldn't handle making big purchases like a car every couple of years. With how gaudy I am people would never guess that, but I HATE spending money. XD
