As the new atmosphere gathered around them and all was still, Eliseo stood poised as his eyes scanned it with care. There was indeed a village to protect nearby, the fortress was before them, there were new smells, he could feel the grass beneath him... Perfect. Yet, the silence couldn't last long. The giant robots rose up, arms extended to begin firing off at them. Eliseo raised his own arms in preparation to deflect the attack, but then a barrier of a different energy formed before the three of them. Blinking, he lowered his arms as his gaze slid over to Nis. That's right-- this was a team exercise. They each had their job to do. He prepared himself as Nik ran through his opening, starting on the robots as Nis spoke up. Nodding in response, Eliseo started off after him without hesitance. Weapons and traps, heh? He remembered his own goal, not taking long to find the guns lifting from the ground already.

"Tch." Eliseo stopped short in his stride, sending a fist to the earth. A generous impact sounded, but this wasn't his physical strength talking; it was the strength of the vines that shot down his arm and into the ground. They resurfaced about the guns that had begun to fire, curling around them to draw their aim first off of the three of them. This took some effort with a couple larger ones in particular, but that was accomplished. Then, with a considerable pulse of energy down his arm, the vines added pressure enough to bend many of them to a breaking point. Noting some of them were beyond the strength of his work, he ended up dodging a few bullets yet himself, the heat of one blast brushing past him in an all too-realistic manner. Narrowing his eyes on those remaining shooting, with another pulse of energy through his arm and into the vines, those wrapped around the remaining guns penetrated their inner workings, instead ripping apart the wires found controlling them until the rest had indeed been destroyed. That had taken some oomph he hadn't quite planned for. Yet, they weren't done yet. Eliseo noted the dinosaur taking care of making their entry, but more so, he took notice to the robots left standing.

Where was Nik? Turning on his heel in time to see his comrade being thrown into the tree, he left out a slight huff. At this rate, Eliseo thought he may be out of energy before they even penetrated that fortress. Weak. Curling his fists again, he crouched, and decided on an easier path. The vines didn't reform-- that took too much power to make something small expand like so. However, that massive tree already standing behind Nik would do. Crouching once more with a palm upon the earth, Eliseo drove his attention there. Its roots curled up and lifted Nik from where he had been thrown, as if a person lifting him from behind. However, it didn't further tend to assist him. Instead, its lengths of great, pre-existing roots shot forward to bind two of the robots left, at least ceasing their shooting. The third, however, yet lumbered on towards himself and Nis. Darting forwards with an arm raised to shield himself just a bit, he felt a shot from it penetrate him near the elbow, but didn't focus on the sting of that pang. Instead, he gripped its nearest limb with his vine-covered arm and allowed the plant to rush forwards, wrapping the last one in a successful bind as well. Eliseo didn't want to put forth the energy to fully crush the robots he had bound, too-- he was trying to time his consumption. At least they were now down for the count.

Instead, looking to Nik, he assumed the other to be alright and capable of now finishing them himself. Eliseo's jaw tensed as he eyed the dinosaur now, seeming close to breaking through... Focus. Conserve your energy. As he stood from where he had crouched, leaving the tree's roots binding the robots, Eliseo took a couple of deep breaths. This was definitely going to be interesting after this morning's little 'workout'.
