Ange snorted at her snide comment. She was certainly secretive. When Vanity stood up after the guards announced the end of dinner, Ange stood as well, studying Vanity carefully. He'd had hoped in the back of his mind that he might get the chance to walk with her back to where there rooms were, but he knew he'd probably get no such luck.

Vanity seemed to walk to the beat of her own drum. Something which interested Ange about her. She was hiding something, however, and Ange was very desperate to find out what. What if she really did kill someone? What if he were talking to a murderer? Ange thought about the possibility, but then shook it off. He'd never killed anyone himself, but he was pretty sure he'd gotten close to it in the past. If she was a murderer, he'd have nothing to be afraid of.

"Fine." He said. He didn't mean for it to come out so snarky. He didn't want to make it seem like he didn't appreciate her help. In truth, he did appreciate what she was doing for him. He just had a hard time showing it. The stress of having his family completely abandon him and condemn him to such a place as this wasn't helping anything either.

He left his untouched food on the table, not bothering to clean up after himself. If they had a problem with him leaving his shit there, then whatever. He made his way around the table and back down the hall to his room.
