Myron's eyes widened behind his heavy glasses. "Uh... Sure! Here. It's this way." He took her hand, the way she had when they were going to class, and began to lead her toward the park. It was in the same direction as his house, so Myron didn't feel the need to tell his parents where he was going. They wouldn't notice he was gone for another couple of hours yet anyway.

The park was beautiful. With a swingset, a playground, a sandbox, and a grove of trees in the background, the place seemed like a little slice of heaven. The sound of birds singing could be heard from nearly every tree, and occasionally a squirrel would scurry past.

((I think a TS would be good. This is still the first day of school after all.))
