Roland could only hope they were truly alone out here, to be caught like this would be dangerous for both of them. How nice it would be to live without fear of being caught. Something he would worry about daily if he chose to live here, to leave his family behind. Could he do that?

His worrisome thoughts were caught up as Alexi led him away. He didn't even get a chance to see the room, or the bed that had been fixed, before he found himself falling onto it.
