It hurt to see Dorian pull away. Chance growled under his breath. "Is that all you can say when I'm trying so hard?" He shook his head. "All I want to do is see if I can get that feeling again, dammit!" He tried not to be too loud, and was so intent on that, that the tears welling in his eyes went unnoticed.

What would his parents say? What would the others in the school say? The other guys were going to kill them, and most girls would probably swoon. Didn't they have a weird thing about gay guys? But he didn't think he was gay. He had really liked Amy, and he had really liked other girls too, and as for guys ...
