You deserved to worry about your own problems, not mine." he said since he knew that she had been worried about college all that time. When he heard the word prom he shook his head, "I was planning on asking you and they cornered me. They beat me up and made it clear that the jock, Tanner, was going to ask you out. But then they decided to torture me. They watched as I went over to you and ask about your friend. I wanted to ask you but I couldn't and when I saw at prom that no one had I felt horrible." he said as he continued to look at the ground.
