Declan sighed, maybe a little in defeat, that session was not nearly as productive as he hoped. And he knew tomorrow that Koda would not have finished the task he'd assigned. So they'd basically be at exactly the same spot.

He gathered his books and excused himself from the house walked towards his Ford Focus. He wanted to break through to this kid, even if just a little bit, but it was going to take more than just talking to the kid.
